WOTAX-Prize
Lilly Marie Collin and Famous K FRH are also unbeatable on the final day
Last year, she already led the lap of honour with the coveted sash of the indoor champion, albeit in the pony riders' camp at the time. With three victories in three competitions, the 17-year-old has now also been able to fulfil this dream in the juniors.
"It's a beautiful day and I can't stop myself from smiling" - Lilly Marie Collin had already set the right mood for the final day of the Aachen Dressage Youngstars with her freestyle music. With a score of 76.083 per cent and a personal best, the 17-year-old not only secured victory in the WOTAX-Prize in the last competition of 2024, but also crowned herself Junior Indoor Champion 2024 presented by UVEX. She had achieved this coup in the pony riders' camp in 2023, and now, after three victories in three competitions, she had successfully completed her career in the juniors. "It's indescribable, I didn't expect it at all and I'm incredibly proud of my horse. We've had a lot of ups and downs this year and I'm all the happier that we've done so well here," beamed the Rhinelander after two rounds of honour in the Christmassy Albert-Vahle-Arena. According to his rider, her stallion Famous K FRH now has a well-deserved break. "He gets lots of carrots and mash and then it's on to the winter work. I'm looking forward to the coming season," said a delighted Lilly Marie Collin.
Second place in the WOTAX-Prize went to Denmark: Clara Cordes Arnkjaer and Brianna impressed with 76.000 per cent and a personal best, also securing the title of Vice Indoor Champion. Clara Paschertz and her For Gold OLD took third place with 75.883 per cent.
