Prize of Stallion Station M. Beckmann & Sporthorses L. Winkel
Helen Langehanenberg is the best in the Prize of Stallion Station M. Beckmann & Sporthorses L. Winkel
There was no way around Helen Langehanenberg and her nine-year-old youngster DSP Danny Cool in the S*** national dressage competition.
Helen Langehanenberg knows what it feels like to win in Aachen. In 2012 and 2013, she was the acclaimed winner of the Lindt-Prize in the neighbouring Deutsche Bank Stadium in the saddle of the legendary Damon Hill at the CHIO Aachen. However, she had not yet competed in the Albert-Vahle-Arena. She finally made up for that today. And how! She had brought her young star DSP Danny Cool with her to the Soers. And he lived up to his name in the festively decorated arena. The nine-year-old son of Danciano, who came third in the final of the Nürnberger Burgpokal last year, mastered the most difficult movements in a cool and experienced manner. ‘I'm madly in love with my horse,’ said the 42-year-old from RV St. Georg Münster e.V., delighted with her sport partner's performance. ‘I always believed in him and knew that this could be something very special with him. And I'm incredibly happy that I'm apparently not the only one who thinks so,’ said the Westphalian, who was delighted with her uncontested victory in the Prize of Stallion Station M. Beckmann & Sporthorses L. Winkel. ‘We have really great conditions here,’ said the two-time winner of the World Cup Final. ‘If there's no Christmas spirit here, then I don't know what it is.’
In second and third place were two horses for whom the Prize of Stallion Station M. Beckmann & Sporthorses L. Winkel was the perfect dress rehearsal for the final of the Louisdor-Prize in a few weeks' time. The nine-year-old Spörcken offspring Slaide, who was presented with great sensitivity by Olympic squad rider Katharina Hemmer, piaffeed to second place with 70.291 per cent. The podium was completed by the ten-year-old Fürstenball OLD son Falihandro under the saddle of Niklaas Feilzer from the Rhineland (70.044 per cent).
Hans Voser (Chief Judge) and Frank Kemperman (Vice President of the Aachen-Laurensberger Rennverein) congratulate the winner.
