Prize of federal promotion of children dressage sports
Double triumph for the Czech Republic's Alice Hubackova
Two starts, two wins: the math was simple. In addition to the two gold ribbons, Czech rider Alice Hubackova also received the coveted sash and the title of Children Champion 2024 powered by UVEX.
Alice Hubackova gave herself the best present to mark the end of her time in the children's class. Just like the day before, the young Czech rider and her Hanoverian-bred Vitalis offspring Versailles conjured up a harmonious and technically accomplished test in the Christmas-decorated Albert-Vahle-Arena. And just like the day before, she set a mark that none of her competitors could match. “This is so much more than I expected,” beamed the 14-year-old immediately after the award ceremony. “My horse has such a big heart. I'm so proud of him,” she said, paying tribute to her sport partner's performance. Only seven years old, the strong-moving chestnut gave her full concentration and completed the required lessons with a perfect mix of composure and expressiveness. With 77.838 percent, the pair not only secured victory in the 2nd competition, but also the title of Children Champion 2024 powered by UVEX.
European Team Champion Floor Kulik also put in an excellent test today. Riding her 19-year-old Belissimo NRW daughter Bella Rosa, the young Dutch rider achieved a new personal best of 77.806 perent. Italian rider Matilde Manzato and her Oldenburg gelding Fine Boy were delighted with third place (76.125 %).
