Start-to-finish victory for Clara Paschertz in the Prize of Nadine Capellmann
Clara Paschertz had to tremble for a very long time: as the first starter, the 16-year-old and her Danubio OLD set a mark of 71.111 percent, which remained unmatched until the end.
Clara Paschertz had to wait a long three hours after her ride in the Albert-Vahle-Halle before she was finally crowned the winner of the first junior competition. "That was really exciting. I would never have expected to be right at the front at the end," beamed the 16-year-old after being celebrated together with her long-time sport partner Danubio OLD in the festively decorated hall. The two have been a team for almost four years. A valuable basis of trust, which today formed an excellent foundation for a round peppered with highlights, thanks to which the two were able to keep Carolina Miesner with Livy H (70.555 percent) and the Belgian Amber Hennes with Keukens Geens Allegro V/H Trichelhof (70.354 percent) at bay. And as exciting as the time after her ride was, Clara Paschertz was relaxed and at ease beforehand. "That comes from jumping," she smiled. Because the talented youngster from Weser Ems is also busy collecting successes in this discipline up to medium (M) level.
