Isla Sully confidently wins the Prize of GRÜN Software Group
She was the first to ride her Vagabond de Massa into the dressage arena in the Albert-Vahle-Arena at around 8:30 on Saturday morning. Despite three hours of tension in the Prize of GRÜN Software Group, the 2nd competition for juniors, her outstanding performance of 71.226 per cent remained unsurpassed until the end.
For the dressage rider from Glastonbury, it is her first show in Aachen. The 15-year-old commented on the exciting moment with a beaming face: "He went in and was just on fire. I'm so pleased with him." She has only had the 14-year-old gelding since August last year: "He is simply brilliant and so lovely." Second place went to Dutch rider Anique Frans and her impressive Jack Sparrow with 70.588%. Bronze went to Denmark: Johanne Kofod Jensen and Frida Gold 5 scored a fantastic 70.294%.
Tomorrow in the freestyle, the WOTAX-Prize, it's all to play for once again for the junior. But as exciting as the time after Isla Sully's ride was, she is now relaxed and at ease ahead of tomorrow. "I have no expectations, I just want to have fun," said the British rider, looking forward to her next appearance at the Aachen Dressage Youngstars.
