With a score of 75.892 percent, Emma Nielen had already shown well, but Carolina Miesner withstood the pressure without any problems: She steered her chestnut smoothly through the arena, and in the end the judges awarded almost 79 percent for her harmonious freestyle - a new personal best. A clear victory for the 16-year-old from Lower Saxony, who was already delighted with the gold ribbon in the second junior competition, the Prize of Horsetrucks Terhorst, yesterday. On top of that, there is the title of Junior Champion presented by UVEX today. "I would never have dreamed of this and I am totally proud of my horse that we were able to deliver our performance here like this," the winner reported. "It's just insane here. The decorated arena and the ground conditions, it's indescribable. It was also always such a dream to be able to ride here once. It has now come true." Her premiere at the Aachen Dressage Youngstars could hardly have gone better.
Behind Emma Nielen and Fazz VH Bloemenhof (75.892 percent), Pia Schein and Dalicanto placed third with 75.317 percent (both from Germany).
Congratulating the winner: Dr. Stephan Wollgarten, member of the management of the WOTAX consulting group and Stefanie Peters, president of the Aachen-Laurensberger Rennverein.
