Three starts, three victories. So the calculation was simple. In addition to the three gold ribbons, Jana Lang also received the much-coveted sash and the title: Young Riders Champion 2022, powered by UVEX.
Three starts, three victories. So the calculation was simple. In addition to the three gold ribbons, Jana Lang also received the much-coveted sash and the title: Young Riders Champion 2022.
The first tears were already rolling after the final salute: Jana Lang could hardly believe her success. As in 2021, the European Team Champion of the Young Riders shone in all three tests. In the final freestyle, the Prize of the Hans-Peter Simons family, the young German and her sport partner Baron received a strong 80.883 percent. "Everything just worked out like clockwork," the 19-year-old beamed after her ride and was justifiably proud of her sport partner: "Baron is something very special. He loves this arena. And he loves it when so many people watch him. Aachen is simply the most beautiful tournament of the year for us."
The Austrian rider Paul Jöbstl also managed an excellent test. The member of the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS Excellence Program came second with his Bodyguard (77.092%), with the German Moritz Treffinger and Treffinger's Superstition OLD, a pair from the last year of the program, placing close behind (77.050).
