Double European Champion Lara Lattermann wins the Children’s classification
She was the favourite from the start and totally convinced in this role: Lara Lattermann was unbeatable in the U14 age category of the dressage riders.
In the summer she brought two gold medals home with her from the European Championships in Oliva Nova, Spain and the national anthem was also rang out for Lara Lattermann at the Aachen Dressage Youngstars. With an extremely supple seat and with an assertive impact on the horse, the young rider from Bavaria steered her Oldenburg-bred mare, Soleil de la Coeur, through the arena in Aachen. The reward from the judges: 84.175 percent. “Being able to compete here in Aachen made another dream come true for me,” the winner remarked referring to her year of success in 2021. “And then to actually win, that is something so very special.”
Leonie Honnefelder came second with For Deluxe (82.500%) ahead of Lennea Höfler, who was delighted at finishing third with GR Dorian Gray although it was her debut performance on the international circuit (81.225%).
